  Alealb water dam in Deriyah City, which is considered to be the biggest water dam in the north west of Riyadh, RDA(Riyadh Development Authority) has prepared nice places for families or singles to set, prepare & eat food, during enjoying nice seanry of the dam lake ( specially after the rain). Amusement Dam park, were the dam is located at the north of Al-Deriyah, 8km away, at the top of Hanifa Valley and south of the Amariyah road, where floodwaters gather in the dam after rainfall to be a natural lake. The dam is one of the important dams in Hanifa Valley , where the flowing water is collected from Aquatic reef of Al-Amariyah and al-Hayasiyah. The rehabilitation works in Dam park included the establishment of 5.5 km walkways, 93 park seating area, roadside parking for 200 cars, a 2 kilometer pedestrian walkway with lighting, as well as two water cycles. The green strip along the valley is an innovative idea for families, and the Dam park is considered a model of the ideal street that people dream of in every neighborhood.

  Very scenic historical place where all farms are surrounded. Low-high hills makes more photogenic, before there were water accumulated in the dam in rainy season now very rarely to see the water pound. It's good place for BBQ and have fun. Walk on the Sandy terrain and bridge.

  They say, it is a water dam, but it’s just a dam only NO WATER even in winter.. good place to visit and relax.

  Nice relaxing place for those who want to escape the bustling city heat esp when its summer. You can have barbecue party, plein air painting, or walking exercise in this place.. The restrooms are very clean (very surprising). Most water in the dam dries up during summer so winter and spring are the best time to experience a seemingly "clear" lake in Riyadh.
