  مسجد السقيا  يقع هذا المسجد بقرب بئر السقيا بطرف حرة الوبرة الموالي للمدينة. وفيه يقول صاحب مرآة الحرمين تحت عنوان (مسجد السقيا): (السقيا بئر بحرة المدينة الغربية، وهذا المسجد عندها، ومكانه الآن قبة شهيرة تسمى بقبة الروس (1) عند باب العنبرية) أهـ. والتحقيق أن مسجد السقيا أو قبة الروس بداخل بنائة محطة السكة الحديدية في جنوب هذه البناية، والبئر بجنوب قبة الروس، ويفصل بينهما طريق مكة. وقد صلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بموضع هذا المسجد، ودعا فيه بالبركة لأهل المدينة، وفيه نطق بأن المدينة حرم كحرم مكة وقد كان هذا المسجد مندرساً غير معروف المكان حتى اكتشفه السمهودي إذ وجده على بناية العمرية القديمة فأعيد بناؤه من جديد ثم اندرس بعد ذلك وبنيت بموضعه قبة الروس.

  Al Suqya Masjid: I had been to this place two times but couldn't enter the inside historic railway station. During the Caliphate of Umar رضی الله عنہ, the uncle of the ﷺ, Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib رضی الله عنہwas asked to lead the Istisqaa prayer (prayer for rain) here. Towards the south of Masjid Suqya, just outside the boundary wall of the railway station was a well which belonged to Saad ibn Abi Waqqas رضی الله عنہ. On his way to the battle of Badr the Prophet ﷺ performed ablution with its water and water was drawn from here for him to drink. The Prophet ﷺ also made du’aa here for Barakah for Madinah. Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Zaid: The Prophet ﷺ said, “The Prophet Ibrahim  عَلْيْهِ السَّلَامُ made Makkah a sanctuary, and asked for Allaah’s blessing in it. I made Madinah a sanctuary as Ibrahim  عَلْيْهِ السَّلَامُ made Makkah a sanctuary and I asked for Allaah's Blessing in its measures the mudd’ and the sa’ (units of measurement) as Ibrahim  عَلْيْهِ السَّلَامُ did for Makkah”, “O Allaah! Bless them in their measure, and bless them in their sa’ and mudd’.” He meant the people of Madinah.

  مسجد السقيا هو مسجد موجود الآن داخل محطة سكةحديد الحجاز جنوب غرب المسجد النبوي الشريف . وذكرت السير بأن في موضعه تم اجتماع جيش الاسلام قبل انطلاقه إلى غزوة بدر، ولا تقام فيه الصلاة الآن

  Burası niçin önemli: Peygamber Efendimiz sas, Ebû Eyyûb el-Ensârî (radıyallâhu anh)’nin evinde misafir iken Hz. Enes (radıyallâhu anh)’in peder-i muhteremleri Mâlik İbnu’n-Nadr’ın kuyusundan tatlı su getirilmiştir. Kendi evine yerleşince hizmetçisi Enes, Sükyâ’dan getirir olmuş diğer bir hizmetçisi Rabâh, bazan Gars, bazan da Sükyâ’dan su taşımıştır. Sükya kuyusu buradadır.
