    dnata sent me a confirmation email few hours after completing my online transaction upon my reservation at one of Dubai's most prominent hotels. First thing I receive is a confirmation email with an attachment. The attachment won't open. I called their customer support and they re-sent me the receipt email with details of my booking. Furthermore, I called the hotel the following day to request certain arrangements to my booking. The hotel reservations department informed that I do not exist in their record. And we never received your travel agent booking request that illustrates your name. I managed to dial the customer support to verify, they promised to resolve the matter in few hours, and I shall be notified no later than the following morning. The following day passed and no further updates. I called and they seemed lost and had no idea about my case and it seems no one was following it. They promised again to resolve the matter through their booking supplier before the end of day. Note that my check in time is 24 hours ahead. The whole day passed and no confirmation received. I touched base with the hotel's reservation department. They still couldn't trace my name. I called dnata again numerous times to be tossed between reservations and complaints department who were very unprofessional in resolving the matter and providing a prompt update. They promised my booking will be fine. I called the hotel and still no clue over my booking details. After providing them with the dnata confirmation number for the fourth attempt (follow up call). They confirmed they received a booking request but it wasn't processed and put on hold since the agent has not submitted a required voucher. I called the agent to escalate the matter since I'm running out of time with no confirmed booking. They informed they are not done yet and they shall get back to me once resolved. This is by far, one of the most inconvenient and unprofessional travel agent I ever dealt with. I highly recommend booking through a reputable hotel booking website instead. Or booking directly with the hotel
