  Nice and bit old Mosque. I have prayed here and even during Ramadan, once I broke my fasting here. It has a mezzanine floor also. Small in size. It is near to the Saptco bus stand. Udhu place and toilets are available underground.

  Abu zar gifari a well known sahabi this masjid belongs to his name once considered as outskirts of Medina during historicaltimes

  This place has witnessed a long prostration by Holy Prophet SAW after he was informed that whoever send salaam to the Prophet Allah will add 10 good deeds and will forgive 10 bad deeds for just one single salaam.

  The Mosque of Prostration / Masjid al-Sajdah or Abu Dharr or The Mosque of Abu Dharr / Masjid Abu Dharr or the Mosque of Gratitude is where the Angel Jibril came to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and promised that Allah will pray upon whoever would pray upon Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and that whoever sends salaam (peace) to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), Allah will send salaam back to them. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) did perform prostration in a means to show gratitude to Allah. The mosque was rebuilt in the time of Caliph Umar ibn Abdulaziz.
