  I was delighted to find Sunset Marine in Khobar - they sell a wide range of boating and fishing kit, including hardware and line. As a sailor, I would have liked to see more emphasis on chandlery and less on fishing and power boats, but they have a reasonable selection of polyester line (different diameters) and stainless bits incl shackles. Much easier than going to Bahrain for spare boat parts.
