  AVIS in general does not honor anything but most car rental places are this way. I am a diamond member but never get the diamond member discount. They say you will get a free upgrade to the next class of car but they get around this offer by not having the car class between each class of car, so if you rent an A class car you should get a free upgrade to B class car but the next class of car they will have available is C class car. Also if you are new to renting cars in KSA you should know that the full coverage insurance does not cover a flat tire and does not cover accidental damage to the wind shield like a rock coming off a vehicle in front of you and cracking the windshield. Be sure to get a good vehicle inspection because at turn in they check very well but don’t like to check well when you rent it and they try and tell you it does not matter. That being said this particular location always treats me kindly and is well mannered. If I knew of a better rental car company that has good long term pricing I would go there but AVIS is the best I have found in 3 years.m
