  Dar Al-Hekma University is a private, non-profit institution of higher education for women in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Classes are taught in English. The University started in September 1999, with the approval of the Saudi Ministry of Education. It received the university status on January 2014 The University's Chairman is Dr. Zuhair H. Fayez who is also president of Zuhair Fayez Partnership. In 2010, Dr. Fayez has been awarded the Honorary Degree "Doctor of Humane Letters" from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. Suhair Hassan Al Qurashi is the president of Dar Al-Hekma University and member of the University's Board of Directors. She received a PhD. in Education and an M.P.E. in Educational Research from Cambridge University, U.K.

  This was my test center for Toefl exam. Everything was fine upto the mark. Excellent coordination and friendly professors. They always had a smile and politely guided through various procedures. One problem which was noticed and was very disturbing to all candidates taking the Toefl test was the centralized air-conditioning, it was sit to extremely cold temperature. This lead to lack of concentration, as all of us where shivering with cold. If only the university could sort out this problem. University Interiors and exterior are well maintained. The architecture of the building is excellent, well designed. Overall it was a half good and half bad experience for me.
