  The Old Diriyah is a Historical place that was preserved by the national government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is historical because this is where the origins of Riyadh can really be traced! It is located in part of the long stretch of oasis called the Wadi Hannifah! Wadi Hannifah is very rich in water resources in the middle of a vast desert. In this case, the early settlers of Riyadh were very blessed to have Wadi Hannifah. As they progressed through time, Diriyah emerged as a big area for civilization! The place is very very beautiful... It is like a museum that is in an open space. The facilities around are best suited for picnics and sunset watching.. There arenlush green parks around where children can play. there are many many stores and restaurants to visit! This is the best place to bring tourists and visitors.. I also encourage that a visit to this place should be matched with Arabian Meal at Bab Al Yemen Restaurant or Najd Village Restaurant to complete the real feel of ancient arabian life..

  Great place, lovely views. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends but otherwise is pretty quiet.

  Nice place for tourist whom seeking for historical sites. Also AL-Bujairi district is 2 minutes of walking.
