  I stayed at the holiday Inn Al Qasr for 6 weeks, from April to May 2018. I was with a group of 5 other teachers from the UK working for the Saudi Royal Commission. The hotel also hosted a big group of female Saudi students who used to have English classes in the meeting rooms at the hotel. The facilities are excellent. The meetings rooms were well equipped, and it was easy to adapt them for classroom use. All of us had our meals at the hotel’s restaurant, which serves delicious food. I was very impressed by how well they managed everything to make sure that there was always some fresh food available and no queues. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel are very professional and friendly. I would like to say a big thank you to the guys working at reception, the housekeeping staff, the waiters, and the manager. Your professionalism and commitment have certainly given us a great stay at your hotel. It was a great example of Saudi hospitality. Well done!   Very old, and rusty hotel. Meeting rooms are very old fashioned and should get renovated as soon as possible. Holiday Inn - Chain in riyadh has fallen down in ranks. I do not recommend for meetings, not sure about the rooms.

  Practical and suitable for business travelers. Rooms vary in comfort and quality, but generally I had no issues whatsoever. I salute the welcoming and cheerful staff who would spare no effort to make your stay better.

  Not the fanciest hotel. I appreciated that they upgraded me to a suite. But a suite with no refrigerator? The A/C was weird. No auto function. Either straight on or straight off. The bed was comfy. Breakfast wasn't bad. The croissants were not fresh though.

  If you need a NON-SMOKING room you'd better request, confirm, then reconfirm. They have very few (1st+3rd flooor). VERY expensive dinner buffet (half the cost of an overnight room, framed over options). You can do better.
