::I used to go to this school back in the 90's when it first opened and used to be called Cosmopolitan Academy, Mali Embassy School. Teachers were overall pretty good and helpful. But I am not sure how the principal actually opened such a school. Can't confirm but the rumors we heard were that the head principal was an electrician and the vice principal of the Pakistani section for boys was a tailor. Both helped open the school from what I heard and remembered. Once the head principal substituted for an English class, and instead of teaching us English he started us teaching how an air conditioner worked. And then he spelled something wrong, and since it was an English class he was subbing for I called him out on it, and he asked the class to vote on what the correct spelling was, and more than half of the class got it wrong. And the wrong spelling won the vote. Lol! Such was the head principal of this place. I would love to know the qualifications of the head principal and vice principal. At one point, they were going to start Karate classes for the boys section. They collected fees for those students interested (I think a little over 100 riyals which was a lot back then,) and after like 3 classes the Karate instructor failed to show up. As far as I know, none of the parents got their money returned or partially refunded. Still overall a good school, great memories! 4/5 for the teachers, and 2/5 for the head principal. And probably 1/5 for the vice principal for the boys section (biased opinion). Anyways, one of the best days for me was in 1996 I think, it was like a day before the final exam, the school shut down because it functioned without a license! Awesome! It obviously has one now since its still in business and operates under a new name.
