  Prophet ﷺ rested here upon his return from Ghazwa e Uhud. Banu Haritha tribe lived near this place and gave way to Yazid ibn Muawiyah's army to enter Madinah through this area. Yazid army plundered and killed inhabitants of Madinah. Whenever Prophet (ﷺ) used to visit grave of Hamza (رضی الله عنہ) and other martyr's of Uhud, he takes rest here. See the other famous landmarks in the holy land marked in Google map. They all are sacred sites. In Makkah and around: 1. Masjid Bai'ah, Masjid al Khayf - Mina, Mashhirul Haram-Muzdhalifa, Masjid Namirah -Arafa. 2. Maimunah grave, Masjid Fatah in Jumoom, Hudaibiyah old Masjid, Hudaibiyah miracle well. 3. Jabal e Noor, Jabal Thawr, Tuwa well-Jarwal, Masjid Shaban, Masjid Jinn, Masjid Shajarah, Masjid Jhandarawi, Jannatul Maulla, Masjid Ijabah-Ma'abdah. 4. Masjid al-Kou , Masjid Addas, Masjid Al Abbas grave in Taif. Search for other sacred sites in Madinah and around in the Google map. All were marked. 1. Masjid Abi Zar, Masjid Ijabah-King Faizal road, Masjid Ainain - Jabal Roumah , Masjid Shaikhain & Masjid Mustarah-On the way to Uhud, Masjid Rayah, Masjid Bani Haram, Masjid Ghaffar and other four Masjids - around Jabal Sila. 2. Quba area: Masjid Quba, Masjid Unaif, Masjid Bani Khatama, Beer Ghars, Salman Farsi well, Beer al Ehen, Masjid Bani Quraidha, M asjid Fadhikh, Noor Masjid and Well. 3. Masjid Jum'ah, Masjid Minaratain, Beer Ahab, Beer Urwah and Palace. 4. Masjid Suqya inside railway station, Masjid Umar, Masjid Ali, Masjid Abu Bakr, Saqifat Bani Saidah garden. 5.Masjid Qiblatain, Uthman bin Affan well. 6. Badr Sahabah and battle field area, Masjid Areesh - Badr. 7. Beer Rouha and Beer Shifa on the way to Badr. 8. Abyar Ali & Jabal Ayr.

  This masjid was constructed at the place of our beloved holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon upon him) resting while visiting Shuhda-i-Uhud weekly.
