::It is a big and a quiet compound, gym, swimming pool, tennis, bowling, soccer, basketball. People are nice there. Stuff are helpful and always smiling. Rents are around 200,000 for a year.

::Okay - so I've been here about a year and thought it was time to share my experience here at Najd. First and foremost - I'm a middle-aged professional here for work and, for the most part, I feel and act like it. Najd has been a bit of a paradise for me since I've been here. If you're part of the younger crowd or are re-living your "glory days" then this is not the compound for you. The pace here is slower than most of the compounds I've visited and/or lived at and that is how I like it. The compound is very well maintained and the staff are fantastic. In the year that I've been here they always respond quickly for maintenance or service related issues. The villas themselves are in very good condition as well. It is true that the appearance is a bit dated but, it is a minor inconvenience and doesn't impact the experience at all. I am a tremendous fan of single-story living and the square footage is generous. Most of the neighborhood are expatriates from various countries and all seem friendly and family oriented. The facilities, especially the pool, are also a huge incentive. The shop here on Najd is well stocked but could be a very little bit better. To offset this, there are two large grocery stores within five minutes though so again, not a major problem. As with the rest of the facilities, the shop staff are very friendly and helpful. Security is thorough and professional and after they've had time to get to know you they are very friendly as well. The restaurant has a very skilled staff and they are very courteous and efficient. The menu is a bit limited, but certainly not to the point that it would be hard to find something good, which everything is because of excellent preparation. The compound also has a top-notch barber. Finally, the main desk is the central point for all service and is outstanding at what they do. They coordinate buses for some of the residents, can arrange ground transportation for you by private driver, and also take care of service and work-orders. The only thing that I can really say is missing is an ATM machine. Since everything on the compound is cash-only, that would be the next improvement that I would like to see. Either that, or integrating a payment system so residents and guests can use credit and debit cards. Overall - I have and continue to enjoy living here and would recommend this compound to anyone that isn't looking for "party-central". This place is fun, for people who have left their wild-streak behind.

::Nice residential compound in an increasingly urban part of east Riyadh. Located conveniently close to the Granada shopping centre and some international schools.
