  PCC STEPS. Please park at designated areas outside the building. No cars are allowed. Next to main gate is the door which would lead to the security officer. Mention..SHAHADAT TAKHLIS SHURTHA ...This means PCC certificate. Then enter and turn left. Building on right. Ground floor for ladies . Husband's can't submit application on behalf of their wives. She should be there in person . No photos or finger prints required. Just get the translated attested from MOFA NOC from your embassy and submit. For men it's second floor . Exit elevator and proceed to right hand side. First office with waiting chairs on right side. For ladies the moment u enter the building proceeed straight where it says MEN NOT ALLOWED. Knock on the door and enter. They would accept the application . No fee to be paid . And give u a receipt . Collect documents in one week. Straight forward. The process is smooth and well arrnaged. Remember to ask for SHAHDAT TAKHLIS SHURUTAH. good luck.

  No picture and finger prints are now lrequired to take Police clearance certificate. They use the ones already available in their records.

  I went there to get a police clearance certificate, first day I went to second floor and asked one officer (in English) where to go for police clearance certificate and he replied rudely and said "Arbi". Then I went inside one of the rooms there (on first floor) and showed my police request letter from my embassy that I attested before from Ministry of Foreign affairs. He said to go to another room and the officer in that room signed on my paper (embassy letter) and then I returned to the same room and gave that letter to the officer. He then wrote my name in his register and gave me a slip to return after 11 days. I returned after 11 days and then he said search your name in the files and I pointed out my name, the officer was clueless and took my paper (same embassy letter) and went to another officer's office returned and took 1 passport size picture of me. Then gave me another slip and asked me to come after 10 days. I reminded him about the fingerprints and only then he took my fingerprints. As I was urgently in need of the police clearance certificate therefore after 4 days I wrote an application and attached the 2 slips with it and gave it to the cheif officer on the first floor. The cheif was very kind and he then told the officer to make it happen quickly and on the same day I got my Police Clearance Certificate.
