::Nice hotel for families, not quite the 4 star experience I was expecting but very decent nonetheless with its close proximity to the Harram and shops. Buffet breakfast is fantastic. Definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again.

::Staff and services are immaculate. Food is excellent. On the doorstop to Al Haram. Convenient shopping centre just below with everything that you will possibly need: money exchange, supermarket, pharmacy, food and clothing. Rooms need renovation but it is definitely value for money.

::This is an average hotel. It is not of 5 star quality, well not for westerners. It's an Arab style hotel and the interior of the rooms and hallway of the hotel is outdated and old. Even the sockets are 2 pin. There was one 3 pin socket in the room that I stayed in. The sofa was worn out and sank in when you sat on it. One really bad experience was I had a taxi booked and waiting for me. I called the reception 15/20 minutes prior to the arrival of my taxi to check out. I spoke to a woman. I asked her to send someone to take our luggage. I waited 10 minutes and nobody came so I called again. I waited another 10 minutes and nobody came so I had to take my own luggage. That really pissed me off as I had a taxi waiting and a flight to catch. Waiting for 20 minutes is not acceptable. If they're busy then they should let me know. The cow wasn't even apologetic when I called the second time. When I complained at the reception desk the weren't even aware that I had called twice for someone to take my luggage. Some good points: The room i stayed in was big and spacious for 3 adults and 3 young children. There was a small electric cooker in the room. The hotel reception guy was professional and friendly. He spoke English and Arabic. On the second night there was a problem with the breakfast so everyone got a free upgrade to the better restaurant. The location is excellent. It's tower 5 connected to the Museum Mall. You walk straight out into the courtyard of the Haram. The best thing about this place is the location and room size (my room was 42 square feet). You have to be patient and work around the other things.

::The room was provided by some 3rd party. They divided Villa into 3 and rented out separately. What I got was a room(more like a bathroom) with a bathroom outside. Which is understandable since it was a divided game. But didn't expect the worst bathroom and hygiene level. No towels at all. Water kept standing on the floor all the time. No cleaning. If you wish to book, use only reception or online booking.

::Other than location there is nothing good in this hotel. You will have to wait 15 minutes for lifts to go to mosque. Room keys stop working every few hours. Hotel staff claims that keeping key close to mobile causes key reset. Even after keeping in different pockets keys keep resetting and you will have to make 2-3 round to reception everyday. There is no service lift and staff will be blocking lifts with big trolleys and you will not reach to mosque in time unless you leave hotel 30 minutes in advance even though the mosque is just 2 minutes walking from ground floor. There is no concept of service here. Staffs are reasonably good but that does not help you much because overall management is not concerned about customers. They are taking advantage of location.
